Whiplash has a way of looking minor from the outside while feeling anything but minor in real life. A person walks away from a rear-end collision, a sports impact, or a hard fall thinking they are lucky. Then the stiffness sets in. The neck starts guarding. Turning the head to back out of the driveway becomes awkward. Sleep gets choppy.
