Larry has the kind of voice that makes a small disaster sound like it paid rent, overstayed its lease, and left a wet sock in the fruit bowl. That is probably why his tale about a very confused plumber works so well as comedy storytelling. The story is not big in the cinematic sense. Nobody parachutes into a volcano. No one accidentally joins a spy ring.
